A gloriously romantic romp, with dazzling dance routines, fabulous sets, colourful costumes and sassy performances - this toe-tappingly terrific production is guaranteed to put a spring in your step and bring a tune to your lips. Set in Oregon in 1850, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers is the story of Adam, the eldest of seven brothers, who goes to town to get a wife. He convinces Milly to marry him that same day. They return to his backwoods home. Only then does she discover he has six brothers - all living in his cabin. Milly sets out to reform the uncouth siblings, who are anxious to get wives of their own. Then, after reading about the Roman capture of the Sabine women, Adam develops an inspired solution to his brothers' loneliness - kidnap the women they want! Starring Dave Willetts and Shona Lindsay. Sing-a-long-a Abba is The Ultimate Abba Party, a chance to sing your heart out all night long to some of the greatest pop songs of all time. Celebrate the music of the Swedish Supergroup in true sing-a-long-a style, with the help of our live singers and magic moments goody bag. A member of the audience (it could be you!) will be crowned Dancing Queen for the evening and then there’s the world famous Sing-a-long-a fancy dress competition. With so much nylon around the evening will be electric! Then, with the lyrics on-screen everyone can let their hair down, dance in the aisles and join in with “Waterloo”, “Fernando”, “SOS”, Mamma Mia”, “Money Money Money”, “The Dancing Queen” and many other of the band’s greatest hits. It’s not compulsory to dress up but many people do and it really adds to the fun. Dip into the wardrobe of your imagination and surprise us with your creation. Sing-a-long-a Abba is hosted by a live team of singers who will prepare you for special moments throughout the show, judge the fancy dress competition and crown the Dancing Queen (it could be you!). Everyone receives a free goody bag with special props for the “magic moments” that make the evening go with a bang. The show lasts about 2 hours 10 mins, with an interval. Most venues we play at have a bar, which is usually open throughout the evening. Both Abba and the Sing-a-long-a concept appeal to all ages and you can expect a wide range of ages attending – there are no restrictions. Sing-a-long-a Abba is a great big party where the first rule of the evening is there are no rules. (back to top)
